One of the smallest appellations of Bordeaux by its size but majestic by its terroir is how one could qualify Pomerol. In 2022, the heat and drought will not have overcome the nerves of the winemakers, proof that the terroir and the mastery of wine techniques are able to thwart the plans of a most capricious climate. But how much longer?
What marks this vintage, here too, is above all the balance and the freshness of the wines. Supple, fine tannins and good acidity. Everything is in place to make 2022 a remarkable and exceptional vintage.
